Our Story
Two Students. One Mission.
Gold Standard Tutors started with a simple observation in the Library. As students at the University of Notre Dame, we spent our days tackling complex problems and our nights mentoring younger siblings and neighbors back home. We realized something was missing in the world of online education. Most tutoring services were either massive, impersonal corporations or overpriced private firms charging hundreds of dollars an hour.
We knew we could do it better.
Why Middle School?
Middle school is the "make or break" moment. It’s when math gets harder, writing gets longer, and confidence can either soar or slip. We founded this service specifically for middle schoolers and high schoolers because we remember exactly what it was like to be in those shoes. We aren't just teachers behind a screen; we are "near-peer" mentors. We speak the same language as your children, understand the modern classroom, and know exactly what it takes to journey from a middle school desk to a seat under the Golden Dome.
