Refund Policy

1. Individual Session Refunds

  • Completed Sessions: Once a tutoring session has been completed, it is non-refundable. We strive for excellence, and if you are ever dissatisfied with a session, please contact us within 24 hours so we can address your concerns or match you with a different mentor.

  • Technical Issues: If a session is cut short or unable to take place due to a technical failure on the tutor’s end, a full refund for that session or a complimentary reschedule will be provided.

2. 10-Session Package Refunds

  • Partial Refunds: If you purchase a 10-session package and decide the service isn't the right fit, you may request a refund for the unused portion of the package within 30 days of purchase.

  • Rate Adjustment: When calculating a partial refund, the sessions already used will be billed at our standard single-session rate ($45), and the remaining balance will be returned to your original payment method.

  • Expiration: Sessions in a 10-pack expire 6 months after the date of purchase. Expired sessions are non-refundable.

3. Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

Because our tutors are Notre Dame students with rigorous academic schedules, we require mutual respect for time.

  • 24-Hour Notice: You may reschedule or cancel a session free of charge up to 24 hours before the scheduled start time.

  • Late Cancellations: Cancellations made within 24 hours of the session start time are non-refundable. For package holders, the session will be deducted from your remaining balance.

  • No-Shows: If a student does not show up within the first 15 minutes of a scheduled session, the session will be considered a "No-Show" and will be charged in full.

4. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund or report an issue with a session, please email us at support@GoldStandardTutors.com with:

  1. Your name and the student's name.

  2. The date of the session in question.

  3. A brief description of the reason for the request.
